Prior to founding Thrive Partnership, LLC, Lisa Adams spent 15 years in the construction industry. As Vice President of Grand Floridian Builders, Inc., a luxury custom home builder, she co-founded, grew successfully, and transitioned into a silent partner.
Lisa has facilitated the development of strategic business plans, implemented processes to improve customer loyalty, employee retention, quality control and internal communications. In an increasingly thriving building economy, she assisted growing the organization into a multi million dollar corporation. She knows first hand what it is like to be a small business owner and is dedicated to helping other business owner reach their full potential in business and personally.
In 1988, Lisa graduated with honors from Florida International University, Miami, Florida, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She spent four years teaching in the classroom and developing her unique teaching and facilitating approach. She is a strong believer in reinforcing learning through doing and creating motivational experiential processes.
She has published several articles on “Building Relationships” and “Creating a Vision and Plan to Build On”. In 2003, Lisa was inducted into the Who’s Who Worldwide Registry of Business Leaders. She is extremely passionate about her mission of positively impacting the lives of individual business owners and working with teens to provide them with the life skills and confidence to thrive in the world. Through a multitude of subjects, including strategic planning, organizational change, and leadership development, she offers workshops, seminars and individual coaching sessions, providing the tools and principles to design and plan future successes and dreams.
Lisa is a life enthusiast! She loves adventure and excitement. Among her travels she has experienced some amazing sites. Some of her favorites are: hiking in the rain forest, kayaking in a bioluminescent bay, horseback riding in Yellowstone National Park, “helicoptering” to a glacier and then dog sledding in Alaska, hot air ballooning, swung on a trapeze, with the greatest of ease and being a guest clown in the circus for one summer!
